AKA Snively. :P

Here's my version of him. An earlier sketch of him([link]) had lots of hair like his dad and the excuse was he finding a way to grow it back somehow. But I was still unsure about giving him a head-full of hair so I went with a happy medium. It's partly grown but won't be back in full.

Part of my "Project: Requiem" universe. Requiem is a creation of Julian Robotnik to substitute him if he's ever defeated. He calls Snively by his name and gives him some respect. Also gave him an electric rod as a weapon that he carries around all the time for when those pesky Freedom Fighters want to mess with him so he can defend himself but it's not much help anyway, especially if it's Sonic the one messing with him.

The sunken eyes and oddly full lips really add to his distinctive visage.

Thank you for doing Snively some justice. I was off looking for some pictures of him as art reference, as he's my favorite backstabber and all. Thumbs UP!

that's pretty cool, although he looks sort of similar to DC's Ragdoll, from the secret six. Still pretty awesome drawing!

I believe the snivley design came first though. The original Ragdoll looked like a dude in a raggedy andy suit...lol

Sooo very awesome ;) I like how solid and real he looks. His face does look like one who's had a hard life, though I do sense he's trying to look more badass than he is too ;) That's some unruly hair he's got there :giggle: I feel his pain there. Oh yeah...this'll sound dumb but I like how you draw him so he actually looks like a guy XDD No matter how I try he always comes out soo girly for me XD I guess it's just my style or something.
Anyway...
Love the idea of the electric rod too :D

You sensed right and that means I did a good job. :D

Maybe is your style but I really don't see him too girly when you draw him. more like delicate or submissive and we usually draw the characters the way we perceive them so they're unique to each fan even if they're still the same char. :P

I do mean him to look like a guy and so make sure to enhance those features while keeping him looking so short. I actually feel like I'm drawing an overaged boy and it's actually hard for me to think he's around mid to late 30s most of the time. He feels more like a much younger man for me.

The electric rod was because I wanted to give him something that mean punishment, at first I thought of a wip and some guns but he didn't strike me as someone who would kill, more of torture. Wanting to share his pain with others and the feeling of venting how bad he's treated on others which is something I got to think more from you and Shychick. :]

The thing actually looks a lot like a light saber. :XD:

Yeah, he's got the bod of a kid...teehee XD You do a great job making him short yet proportioned, and he still looks lean without looking completly anorexic. I need more practice drawing guy's features and bodies (you'd think they'd be easy, being less curvy than women but I find it hard to make them look more masculine O>O)
Heh...anyhoo... I love your take on Sniv.

Actually, I feel women are easier. they have less details and are more curves in key places and that's it. But men, having more obvious muscles even if they're skinny are harder to know where they go. Or at least for me as I will always trace those muscles even if I don't use them in the actual drawing, just to know everything fits in the body. Women are curvy and men are angled and hard edged, even the feminine ones. Women always will look good even if the curves aren't exactly accurate most of the time, but guys tend to look more awkward when something's out of place.

But this comes from someone who's always drawn more men than women anyway. So I've spent my life studying the male body. :P

I like this a lot. It's...just the head looks outta place. But this is still awesome. I have always liked your AU interpataions of SatAM villians.

Yes, there is something odd about the head, but it's probably that I tried to have him a bit hunched forward. But tell me what bugs you about it and how should I fix it, in case I can't see it. I think it's the first time I tried that hunched thing.

I think it mostly looks too big. Also, his face bothers me. Perhaps too detailed for my tastes? I'm not really sure how to discribe what I don't like about the face. Maybe back off just a very tiny bit on the rendering of the face.

I do like that he has more than nine hairs on his head and eyebrow hair. The rest of the compisition is great.

Oh, well, I tried going for realism and how his face should have the marks of the miserable life he's had so he'd look more aged than he really is. Sunken cheeks, puffy eyes and wrinkled part from either frowning too much or scowling. So he's not gonna look too cute in reality and I wanted to show that. But I could still get rid of some expression marks.

Yay, The Sniv!! You always draw him with awesomeness. It's you style---but you can see him in there. You, Alie and Spug are both really good at that.

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I want him to be unique for me but to not get of track from his original character. :aww:
Ali and Spug have also been huge inspiration for me, but they're still the Snivy Godesses. :P

I wanted to keep those characteristic single strands but make it a bit more realistic and add more random ones all over. I keep thinking of Gollum when I draw him. ^^;

I went for a more realistic look here, yeah.

Project: Requiem is a Sonic AU story I've had in my head for YEARS but as time passes I keep changing things because it started as very cliche (I was a heavy DBZ fan back then so yeah...)and now I'm trying to adapt it to the Sonic cannon and make up a good story and characters before I do anything with it.
I have old comics about in notebook and some written work, but they're scattered stories all over the place with little holding them together. My main character in them is this guy: [link]
Who I use as the successor of Robotnik. He's called Project Requiem and has that's all known from him he's nicknamed "Big R" or just "R". An enhanced human with both Cybernetics and Robotization. He's all over the place in my gallery but I still haven't found something I stick to about his character only a few basic details. I want him to be a full OC but also find a way to tie him to the Sonic universe. I just change my mind so often and I don't draw or imagine as often as I used to years ago so not even him, who's all mine, is "complete" yet.

So, I've decided to start working on more of this story of mine and go with whatever if only to just do something with it.
