I love the rare moments I pull this kind of things out. X3
I've learned a bunch in my art class and feel motivated by my teacher who loves Wonka as much as me. I needed someone in real life to talk to that shared the same obsession.
Thank you Mr. Flores, I dedicate this to you!

And oooh! Finally and update in the categories. Always found the whole cartoon/comics seccion a bit too general and confusing.
Sketched in pencil, inked with a fine tip and bold tip pens, but ran out of ink for the fine tip one so it really isn't finished. Wonka's face in the first panel is the only part I could finish.

This strip is based in a fanfic I'm writing called "Ask Wonka", although is still a tentative tittle, inspired by Greatest Journal's AskWonka account.

The story behind it.
My tesis of Loompa Land is that Wonka was the first and only person who found about it. I do believe it is in maps (In Wonka's verse of course, but the day I see an Oompa-shaped island I'd go berserk) it's only one of those tiny little island concidered deserted or simply left untouched to preserve it.
In that fragment of the story Wonka is at Charlie's school. So he simply shows him the little island and lets the boy figure it out on his own, rather than making a scene with the teacher about it like it happens in many fanfics I've read.
Of course, I'm not against them. We'll just say my view of 'written' Depp!Wonka is different in some ways.
