Of course he could kill Sonic if he really wanted to. Of course he could fully take over the planet if he wanted to.
He and any other version of Robotnik out there. But of course a plot it's needed and I quote our doctor here by saying "We can't make it too easy."
So yeah, this crossed my mind while I was thinking up a fight scene betwin those two. You (SatAM fans) know how Sonic gets sometimes too close to Robotnik, in Blast from the Past 2 Robotnik actually grabs him. So I thought if Robotnik really wanted to kill him he'd wait until Sonic's ego gets him too close, then use his boosters to plunge towards him and wrap his mechanical hand around his head and just...close it.
