EDIT: Replaced the scan with a cellphone photo to show the rough lineart better. You can see the folds of the cape and his hands more here.

Something I really want to do but not too sure how exactly...

So it won't be completely accurate, I wanna make it as if it was symbolic, like someone making him a portrait that shows just who he truly is, i.e. everything being pointy and curved upward like the Devil's horns... I also want his features to be aged, rough and "corrupted". I want him to be freaking scary! Not just some old, fat man.

Now there's the cape. I want it to be somewhere in the front. In the sketch is covering his mechanic arm but I'm open to suggestions as I'd rather not hide that arm. I still do want it dangling or curled up somewhere right in front of him. Don't ask why, it's just -there- in my vision.
Maybe keeping the arm hidden can mean something, or maybe I'll hide the normal arm instead?

Below his arms there's a big empty space and it won't be his body covering it because it's like he's either laying on his stomach or resting on some wall.
Yesterday I was thinking of surrounding him in technology, like wires and tubes. Still not sure as I'm not that good with details but if I know it will look awesome I will try and do it bits at a time until I'm done! Oh and as random spur of the moment thing I added a sort of holy halo on his head that would be made from the same tech stuff.

Give me any suggestions you'll like. Just keep it dark and freaky!

And this is only for the pencil sketch. I'll worry about coloring and how later...

I guess the pose is good... (horizontally?). Perhaps you can use a Black-Red color scale.

an interesting idea would be for him to be relaxing over a globe of the planet mobius, pondering his next move perhaps? You know, his arms resting on top of it.

... This is so awesome I don't even know how to respond XD I agree for leaving the arm uncovered. If every other part of the piece is organic, all attention will be drawn to it, so if you wanted to focus on that point of 'stopping his other arm' thing you mentioned earlier, then maybe just a little spot of technology would work to draw the looker to his arm. Dunno, though, I'm bad at critiques XD Good luck, I think he looks badass
