I came up with this while I was adding more to one of my many-unfinished-fanfics. The one that I got from this dream.
I thought about the image preview there is for literature submitions and that's what this is. But I thought I submited it as a deviation because of how good it came out.
It's done 100% Photoshop. Did the sketch in PS and everything. The only thing that I took reference from someplace else was his head. I took a screenshot of Julian and used the inking tecnique I learned from this tutorials: How to use the pen tool and Simple tutorial on anime hair (Very Helpfull indeed :D )
The color and shading were also done in PS. This took me a whole afternoon to make and I'm very pleased with how it came out.
It's currently in my desktop (Most of my recent drawings or favorite pics end up on it anyway. :P )
Now, for the actual preview image for when I finally submit my fic. It's done but slightly altered. You'll just have to wait and see. :boogie:

Nice glow in the eyes, and very nice work on the hand/arm. I like it. ;)

Whoa... awesome. That seems to be different from your normal style, a bit. You did the shading REALLY well on this, and the lineart too. The folds in the clothing look very realistic, and the shading on the face makes it stand out quite a bit too.

The way you set the line thicknesses looks great. I don't really see anything wrong with this pic, other than the words... I personally would have made extra efforts to make the words stand out better, but the art itself is pretty much perfect, in my opinion.
