My concept of Sonic for a time I used to do fancomics of SatAM and stopped. I wanna get back to them! DX
Felt like customizing his shoes somewhat but I didn't really want to change the original design.
My trademark for this are the rings in both wrists and ankles as well as the long animated tail and that cocky smirk. I also tend to add emotion to his ears, though they are neutral here.
I thought of the rings before Shadow came along! But anyway, they don't serve the same purpose, they just give Sonic an extra power boost to do especial stuff but nothing too big. He'll still use a regular ring for the full power up.
I also don't think it fits Sonic to have any clothes on at all, no matter how "cool" he might look. For the speeds he runs at he needs to be free of anything that could hinder his running.

Also, this came from hearing about someone possibly trying to bring the series back! X3
