Ok, I wanna get back to drawing as I used to so I sort of forced this one. Just got into the mood from the SatAM forum and looking at the old comics.

So, what every Sonic and Sally fan and their mom draws: Sonic Carrying Sally. Wee~

I was told to use blue lead for the sketch and then pencil it because the scanner wouldn't pick it up, but mine obviously does. :/ Meh. I'll ink it and scan it later anyway. This one looks better in inks and in case I feel like coloring it too.

It's amazing to me how you can shift from excellent manga style humans to this Sonic style that is so dynamic from the game. And Sonic will forever be a fave of mine too, although I don't know it as fully as you do. You always bring back old memories for me with this fandom as well.

That's Sonic's "hero" face, his determination; always liked him for that. :)

I've had no luck with using professional "non-photo" blue either. It always shows, copy machines too. Only professional publishing equipment eliminates that, but I like it.

Are you adding watermarks and stuff because ppl are taking your work or only to be safe/professional?

Because I forgot to sing it and I like putting my sig IN the drawing. But yes, preventing too because I really like it.

I added my signature now as part of the drawing, so the inked version has no watermark. Also, I've seen others watermark their sketches. I think that way even if someone does steal and manages to get rid of my sig I can say, Hey here's the WIP with my name on it, bitch! :XD:

But mostly when I forget to put my name on it...

I actually started with this style, I had a really hard time drawing humans for years so this style comes natural for me. I can draw anything in it, now humans take me a bit longer still even if the finished version you get to see looks nice, sometimes I struggle a lot. Anyway, I apply things from both styles in each.

Thanks! The trick for the lines is to use a blue/red color lead for the sketch so when you pencil over it it's just the actual lines and the others hardly show. But there's a messy sketch somewhere under that, specially with Sonic's hands holding Sally that gave me trouble and his foot.
The stupid foot that gets all the attention. :XD:
