I have no way to tell how much I've gained in muscle because I'm also using little weights plus a routine to tone muscles so I probably lost a lot more in fat and gained some in muscles. I don't wanna be no body builder but I want a strong built~ Because I
Still, a belt I used to have 3 holes left it's now on it's last and slacking already~
Also, my butt is smaller.
Yey and stuff

I understand how this is---that's why I'm taking Physiology of Fitness next year, in an attempt to make me less... you know.
Anyway, your progress sure is inspiring! Good job!

I'm also reading a book called "The Power of Your Metabolism" that explains you how to eat right, what to eat more of and less off and LOTS of water. You have to divide your weight by 2 and the total is the onzes of water you have to drink to speed up your metabolism and that helps your own body burn it's own fat. But that's only a start.
Book says meats, eggs and cheese are very good. give lots of energy and are pure protein. Salads of course are also very good and the things you have to eat very little of or avoid if you can (but never go hungry to avoid) are breads, rice, potatoes and any others like them that grown undergrown because of the starch, any sweets, cakes, etc.
The rule of the book is that anything that makes your blood sugar rise will have your body make insulin and the insulin, to get rid of that sugar will turn it into fat for the body to store. So the less insulin you make the less fat you'll have.
"Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper."
And again, LOTS and LOTS of water! If you don't like it force yourself to drink it, I had to, it made me gag, but now I get thirsty more often again. Also, peeing a lot helps you get rid of fat and other toxins in the body so makes you healthier.

I still figured some workout was better than the none I was doing before, however... it doesn't seem to make a difference. I guess I have to get a bit more hardcore about it!
Maybe I'll look into classes. I think being around people would help motivate me more. ^^

And once you're used to one hour try and see if you can do 2. The body gets used to things and it's probably not working anymore. To know if it works it's when you're sweating a lot and breathing hard and feel very hot. Means you've put your body in overdrive!
And hey, who says I'm faithful 100% to the diet... I had a chocolate donut with almonds today.
And yes, some exercise is better than none. I never did any before. Also, don't pay too much attention to the weight scale, pay it to how the clothes fit you and don't weight yourself every day (I do, bt won't take it seriously, just to see what happens and it goes up and down often) Muscles weight too as well as water in the body. There was a day when I was 211 and the next one I was 216! Then that started to go down slowly during the week. The last week started 208, then after I did a heavy routine and 3 hours of exercise(was dead next day) I was down to 204! Then was the weekend which I did nothing but sleep through it and monday was 201. So the body was still burning all that time because of how heavy I've done the one before plus I had been nice to the diet that week. Now I bet I'll gain some when I return on monday because I stopped since wednesday and haven't been so nice. But at least I know it can work so pay attention to when it's working to see what you did for that instead of when it's not. And with exercises make them random! Sometimes be real slow then speed up(just don't do more when it hurts, that's your limit), that way the body thinks there's no more and calms down but has to go overtime again when you speed up and will keep it that way longer if it's very harsh because it thinks it will last longer.
Funny that, the body is alive on it's own! Completely separated from the brain. So we can trick it! Same goes for food. If you think a lot about sweets you'll crave them. Try to start thinking less or "I had my sweet for this week I'll be happy now" and -eventually-, because I admit it takes time, you'll crave them less.
It's not about cutting and denying yourself things, it's about having less. When we're not allowed to have something we want it even badlier.
