I've checked many stores near my area to see if they have the one I want.

But none of them do. I've found it on eBay and my friend has an account so I could have him buy it but I'm skeptic. Already had a bad experience with a camcorder that came defective and though I did sent it back and got my money back it was a hassle to deal with it.
Now, 2 days ago I went to a store I completely forgot existed in my own town and they can order it. This is, there with shipping and damn taxes it will be about $510, while online the most will be $430. Store, however, offers maintenance and help during the process of claiming the warranty if need be so that would be less of a pain.
My very first laptop was bought online and it lasted me a full 4 years before it started breaking down at the lid's hinges and the the mother board died, but it was 4 years without any sort of maintenance and not a single virus because I'm paranoid about that and had the thing full of anti-virus/malware stuff.
So, what do you guys think. Anyone with online buying experiences before. Should I save myself some money and be able to still get good customer support or spend some more to have it from a near by store?
I also will try to check larger stores at the capital like Best Buy, only it's a 2 hour trip. But I do want the best and more convenient way if there's any troubles.
